On July 31, 2006, three-year-old Danielle Jimenez was abducted
by her own father - Leandro Jimenez - who is wanted for allegedly
killing Danielle's mother. Police report that Sonia and Leandro
Jimenez had an ongoing dispute, but things escalated on July
31, 2006. Leandro followed Sonia as she headed to visit a friend
at a Houston apartment complex. When she arrived, Leandro got
out of his car and allegedly stabbed her with a sharp object
in the parking lot. Emergency crews rushed Sonia to the hospital,
but it was too late -- she died later that day.

Fortunately, Danielle wasn't
there to see her mother die since she was staying with her older
siblings at the time. But after allegedly killing Sonia, Leandro
headed to the place where Danielle was staying, took her and
neither have been seen since.

Not only do the police want
to find Danielle, and get her out of harm's way -- they also
need to find her father -- fugitive Leandro Jimenez. Danielle
has brown eyes and black hair, and in July 2006, she was about
two-feet tall and weighed about 30 pounds. She was last seen
wearing a green and white striped shirt.

Jimenez on August 1, 2006. He may be traveling in a silver 2004
Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck with Texas license plates 9NGH92.
